Founded in 2020 by the family of Réka Darida Schmidt, Tulipán Foundation supports Hungarian culture through grants, programs, and community events. Its work includes supporting folk artists in Hungary, as well as artists, scholars, and nonprofit organizations in the United States working to share and promote Hungarian culture. In 2027, Tulipán will bring this work to a permanent home in New York City at 1065 Madison Avenue. Bringing together its programs, Tulipán Kitchen, Tulipán Pantry, and community under one roof.
